Senior expertise, thoughtfully scaled
Clients needed seasoned financial leadership without necessarily building the same capability in-house.
Maven Strategic Solutions was built around a simple idea: provide sophisticated financial and regulatory expertise while becoming a true extension of each client's team.
After relocating his family to South Florida in 2003 to lead a subsidiary of a publicly held company, Steven Singer began exploring his next professional chapter. Conversations with former colleagues revealed a clear need: businesses wanted experienced accounting, finance and FINOP leadership, but often on an outsourced basis.
What began with consulting engagements involving financial reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley matters and FINOP responsibilities soon became something larger. Former employers became early clients, referrals created new relationships, and by 2005 Maven Strategic Solutions had taken shape.

Maven expanded largely through the recommendations of clients and trusted professional partners.
The firm's role grew beyond deliverables into ongoing judgment, accountability and proactive support.
The name emerged from a conversation about Malcolm Gladwell's The Tipping Point and the role mavens play in connecting knowledge with the people who need it.
A maven is a trusted expert in a particular field—someone whose guidance reflects accumulated knowledge and who seeks to pass that knowledge on to others.
That definition captured the kind of firm Steven was building: knowledgeable, resourceful and collaborative. It also gave the professionals who joined the firm a fitting name of their own—the Mavens.
Today, Maven professionals support broker-dealers and financial-services organizations throughout the United States, including firms connected to larger domestic and international financial groups.
Technical quality and attention to detail form the foundation of every relationship.
Maven professionals are accessible, responsive and accountable to the people they serve.
Long relationships are built through consistent judgment, transparency and follow-through.
Maven now applies AI-assisted workflows to reduce manual input and improve accuracy, freeing our Mavens to focus proactively on best practices, timely and accurate books and records, and stronger financial and regulatory compliance.
